Russ Kramer creates first-hand experiences unlike any other contemporary marine artist, transporting the viewer back in time to some of the greatest moments in yacht racing history. Russ' sense of the dramatic and meticulous historical accuracy completely capture the sheer beauty of a comanding yacht on a tenacious sea, and the steadfast determination of those aboard.

Russ's fascination for the sea and ships led him early in life to a love of marine painting. He is a great admirer of the works of Carl G. Evers, John Michael Groves and Geoff Hunt. While he currently serves as president of a succesful, full-service creative agency, he is anxious for the day when he can devote himself full-time to painting water, wind, and the great ships.
